TTE Academic Achievement Award

TTE Legacy Foundation is pleased to offer 1 academic achievement award for the Spring Semester of 2022.

 

  • Due date August 31, 2022
  • Two $2,000 scholarship
  • The scholarship is not renewable
  • Juniors or seniors at an HBCU who are currently on track to attain a degree in a STEM related discipline
  • Previous scholarship recipients cannot reapply

Purpose

The TTE Legacy Foundation provides annual awards to mentors who devote their time, talents and energy to support and nurture students.

Eligibility

Students who meet the following criteria are eligible for the scholarship. The candidate:

  • Is a full time student pursuing a degree in a field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Is a citizen of the United States of America
  • Has a minimum GPA of 3.0.

TTE Mentorship Award

TTE Legacy Foundation is pleased to offer a Mentorship Award for 2022.

 

  • We are looking for individuals who have mentored and positively effected the lives of high school and/or HBCU college students.
  • 1 annual award winner will receive $1000

Purpose

Our next step in the growth of this mission is to start supporting mentors who devote their time to fostering the mental and academic growth of our youth. This next step will allow us to continue to make a difference in the lives of our future leaders by making the hurdle to a quality education easier to clear.

Criteria

Individuals who meet the following criteria are eligible for the award. The candidate:

  • Strong commitment to developing and encouraging high academic standards in undergraduate students
  • Positive role model as a professional with deep personal integrity
  • Provides guidance to young men and woman to help guide them through the academic and life stresses that affect undergraduate students
  • Helps protégés reach their full potential by helping them reach crucial educational milestones

Application Process

Application materials must be received by March 1st, in order to be considered. The following materials should be submitted….

  • Completed Application Form

  • A typed essay (no more than one page double spaced)
    What are your career aspirations and why?

  • One letter of recommendation from a professor (TTE Academic Achievement Award) or Colleague (mentorship award)
